How It Works

From nomination to ceremony, here's what to expect at every stage.

Submit

Complete the online nomination form. Free and open to individuals across all sectors working or living in Scotland.

Review

Our organising team reviews all submissions against the award criteria and prepares a shortlist for the judging panel.

Judge

An independent panel of judges evaluates shortlisted nominees based on demonstrated impact, leadership, and achievement.

Celebrate

Winners and finalists are announced at the Nayrah Awards Gala, taking place in Scotland between 25 November and 10 December 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Who is eligible? Women working or living in Scotland who have shown exceptional impact in their community, industry, or field across any sector.
Who can nominate? Anyone, self-nominations are welcome, as are nominations from colleagues, managers, peers, or community members.
Is there a fee? Nominations are completely free. Gala attendance tickets are available separately from £40 per person.
What's required? A completed nomination form with a clear statement of the nominee's impact, achievements, and why they deserve recognition.
